The biographical drama “12th Fail”, directed by Vidhu Vinod Chopra, has achieved remarkable success. It has been rated the highest on IMDb with a score of 9.2 out of 10, securing its place at the top of IMDb’s Top 250 films of Indian Cinema.

The film is an adaptation of Anurag Pathak’s non-fiction book of the same name published in 2019. It narrates the inspiring journey of Manoj Kumar Sharma, who rose from abject poverty to become an officer in the Indian Police Service.

In the subsequent year, he passes his exams and dreams of becoming an IAS officer, but fate has other plans, and Manoj has to struggle right from the start.
“12th Fail” has been lauded by critics and audiences alike. It boasts a high rating of 90% on the TOMATOMETER, a score derived from 10 professional reviews. The audience has also expressed their appreciation for the film, with a remarkable score of 98% based on over 250 ratings.
