BMW has introduced the 2025 2 Series Gran Coupe in India, priced at ₹46.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated model, the brand’s most affordable sedan in the country, brings a refreshed design, enhanced features, and improved ride quality while maintaining its sporty and luxurious appeal.
Bold Design Upgrades
The 2025 model features a striking front grille with an illuminated outline and adaptive LED headlights. Its sleek coupe-like profile includes a sloping roofline, sharp character lines, and 18-inch alloy wheels. The ground clearance is raised by 19mm, preserving the low-slung stance, while slimmer LED tail lights with arrow detailing enhance the rear’s clean look.
Premium and Comfortable Interior
The cabin exudes luxury with soft-touch materials, frameless doors, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof. Powered front seats with driver memory function and a 430-liter boot with a space-saver spare tire add practicality. The rear seats are best suited for average-sized adults.
Turbo-Petrol Powertrain
Under the hood, a 1.5-liter, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine delivers 156hp and 230Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The sedan accelerates from 0-100km/h in 8.6 seconds and offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 16.35km/l. Safety features include seven airbags (including a central front airbag), ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control.
Tech-Loaded Cabin
The 2 Series Gran Coupe is equipped with a 10.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, both supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional features include a Harman Kardon sound system, dual-zone climate control, and leather-free upholstery for a sustainable luxury experience.
The 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe blends sporty aesthetics, advanced technology, and premium comfort, making it a compelling choice in the compact luxury sedan segment.
