A two-day State level Nav Sankalp Meeting organised by Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) concluded on Thursday at Congress Bhawan, BT Road. The Nav Sankalp Meeting unanimously adopted ten agendas. Congress also ready to launch agitation against price rise in the state.
MPCC chief spokesperson N Bupenda Singh MPCC while speaking to media persons said that the two days State level Nav Sankalp meeting (brainstorming session) resolved the finalization of jurisdiction and constitution of Mandal Congress Committees and to conduct a 75 km long Padayatra starting from August 9 to mark the celebration of 75 years of India’s independence by every district Congress committee.
He informed that the meeting also resolved to organise a State level program on August 15 to culminate the 75th anniversary of India’s independence. It resolved to chalk out a plan of action for filling up the vacant mandal, block, district and State level positions in the next 90 to 180 days by November 15, 2022. It further resolved to launch agitation against price rise, unemployment and other issues, he conveyed.
Appointment of election observers at the assembly level, in all the Lok Sabha constituencies of the State, holding of upcoming organisational elections at polling booth, block and district levels, discussion of Udaipur Nav Sankalp declaration in details and finalization of date, venue and agenda for the district level Nav Sankalp meetings were amongst the resolutions taken in the meeting, he informed.
He further informed that a 16-member political affairs committee of MPCC was constituted in the two-day State level Nav Sankalp meeting. They are MPCC President K Meghachandra , CLP leader O Ibobi Singh, ex-MPCC President Gaikhangam, Deputy CLP leader K Ranjit Singh, MLA Th Lokeshwar Singh, MLA Surjakumar Okram, ex-MPCC President TN Haokip, ex-MPCC president M Okendro, ex-MP Dr Thokchom Meinya , ex-MLA Victor Keishing , ex-MLA I Hemochandra Singh, ex-MLA AK Mirabai Devi, ex-MLA Dr Kh Ratankumar Singh, ex-MLA Md Amin Shah, Vice-president Hareshwar Goshwami and Chief Spokesperson N Bupenda Singh.
