Deepika Mayanglambam from Manipur was honored by C20 India 2023 Chair, Anmol Sovit, at the C20 INDIA CHAUPAL PROGRAM, organized by the Global Youth Peace Committee (GYPC) under the leadership of Chairman GYPC, Braj Srivastava, on March 15th, 2023, at the Lotus Temple Seminar Hall in New Delhi.
The theme of the “Chaupal Program” was promoting quality education and civic space toward a sustainable nation. Anmol Sovit, C20 India 2023 Chair, graced the program as the chief guest.
Youth 20 (Y20) is an official consultation forum for youth from all G20 member countries to dialogue with each other. Y20 encourages youth as future leaders to raise awareness of global issues, exchange ideas, argue, negotiate, and reach a consensus.
During the event at C20 India 2023, Deepika Mayanglambam spoke about “peace and well-being” by highlighting the importance of practicing kindness and understanding humanity to secure the well-being of all in society.
The program was attended by many changemakers, young achievers, social thinkers, CSOs, NGOs, and volunteers from across the country.
Deepika Mayanglambam, a 26-year-old from Sagolband Moirang Leirak, Manipur, is the daughter of (L) Mayanglambam Gyaneshwor Singh.
She is a recipient of the 2023 Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Memorial Award from the Govt of NCT Delhi. Deepika is a wellness professional and founder of FREEDOM FROM MENTAL ILLNESS, a startup that works in the mental health space. She completed her Masters in Sociology from Panjab University, Chandigarh.
