Exciting news for fans of the hit Netflix series Outer Banks as the production dates for Outer Banks season 4 filming have been scheduled to begin in late May 2023.
As reported by ProductionWeekly, Outer Banks Season 4 filming is set to commence on May 30th, 2023, and is expected to wrap up by December 15th, 2023.
Deux Moi, a popular gossip account, also confirmed the Outer Banks Season 4 filming rumors stating that “Production starts end of May. They’ll be in South Carolina until the end of the year.” With these new production dates, fans can expect season 4 to drop on Netflix sometime between May and August 2024.
As for the story, season 3 of Outer Banks ended with a cliffhanger leaving fans eager for answers. The Pogues were searching for El Dorado, and despite facing their toughest challenges and loss, they finally closed in on the treasure deep in the jungle. Sadly, the season ended with two major deaths, Big John and Ward, who lost their lives fighting off Carlos Singh and his men.
In the final scenes of season 3, a mysterious older man approached The Pogues with a job offer. He had a manuscript from 1718 that contained information on the notorious pirate captain Edward Teach, also known as “Blackbeard.” He sought partners to assist him in investigating the document, which includes precise details of Teach’s voyages and the location of his ship.
Outerbanks Season 4 is expected to pick up from this point, and fans can expect more exciting adventures and high-stakes drama.

The series was renewed as part of a live event called “Poguelander: An Outer Banks Experience,” which saw the cast announce the fourth season and included performances from Khalid, Lil Baby, alt-J, and Elley Duhé.
