CBS hopes to introduce "Yellowstone" to a fresh audience, revealing that 80% of its viewers haven't yet experienced the Dutton family drama.

The series follows Academy Award winner Kevin Costner as John Dutton, the head of a Montana ranching dynasty and owner of the largest U.S. ranch.

"Yellowstone" recently concluded the first half of its fifth and final season.

The second half is scheduled to return in November, marking the end of the series.

After "Yellowstone," a spin-off series is set to debut in December, reportedly starring Matthew McConaughey.

This inaugural episode aired on CBS on Sunday, September 17, at 8:30 p.m. EST.
