1470 NCC Cadets Successfully Clear ‘A’ Certificate Exam in Manipur

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Group Headquarters Imphal today announced the successful and smooth conduct of the NCC ‘A’ Certificate Examination for the training year 2025–26 across various centres in Manipur.

A total of 1,470 cadets appeared for the examination, comprising 854 from the Junior Division and 616 from the Junior Wing. The candidates belonged to four NCC units: 1 Manipur Air Squadron NCC, 14 Manipur Battalion NCC, 65 Manipur Girls Battalion NCC, and Sainik School Imphal.

These cadets represented numerous schools from different parts of the state.Officials described the examination process as highly disciplined, orderly, and completely in line with all NCC guidelines.

The entire exercise was conducted under the direct supervision of the respective Commanding Officers, with active support from Permanent Instructional (PI) Staff and Associate NCC Officers (ANOs) of the participating units.

The NCC ‘A’ Certificate holds significant value for the cadets. It provides them with preference and additional weightage in various state government job recruitments and educational admissions, as per existing rules.

The certificate also serves as an essential stepping stone for cadets aspiring to obtain higher NCC certifications recognised by the Government of India.The National Cadet Corps continues to play a pivotal role in shaping disciplined, responsible, and motivated young citizens dedicated to national service and nation-building.

The NCC Group Headquarters Imphal congratulated all the cadets, instructors, and staff involved for the successful and peaceful conduct of the examination.
