ABVP Manipur Stages Strong Protest Against NEET Paper Leak.

Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Manipur organised a powerful protest demonstration at Xtra Edge School against the alleged paper leak of the NEET-UG 2026 today.

A large number of NEET aspirants and students joined the protest, voicing serious concern over the recurring irregularities in the national-level medical entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The protest was led by Gautam Philem, State Secretary of ABVP Manipur. Addressing the gathering and media persons, Philem strongly condemned the NTA for its failure to ensure a fair and transparent examination process. He asserted that the future of lakhs of hardworking students cannot be allowed to be ruined due to corruption and negligence.

Demanding accountability, Gautam Philem called for the immediate resignation of the NTA Chairman, stating that the authorities must accept moral responsibility for the repeated controversies surrounding the paper leak of the examination.

The ABVP also submitted a comprehensive charter of demands to the authorities, urging immediate and decisive action to address the NEET paper leak scandal. The organisation called for strict and immediate punishment for all individuals found involved in the leak, emphasising that those responsible must face exemplary penalties to deter future malpractices.

They further demanded the formation of a high-level independent inquiry committee to thoroughly investigate the entire incident and uncover the possible nexus behind the controversy. ABVP stressed the need for concrete assurance from the government and the National Testing Agency (NTA) to establish a transparent, secure, and fair examination system that restores the credibility of national-level tests.

Additionally, the student body pressed for the implementation of robust and foolproof measures to prevent any recurrence of paper leaks and other examination malpractices in the future.

Finally, they demanded complete protection of the interests and future of all genuine and deserving NEET aspirants, ensuring that no hardworking student suffers due to the negligence and irregularities of the examining body.

The organisation warned that if the government and concerned authorities fail to take prompt and decisive action, ABVP will intensify democratic protests across the state in support of the students.

ABVP Manipur stated that such repeated examination scandals are destroying students’ faith in the education system and causing immense mental stress among aspirants across the country.
