Acquisition of Accenture
A few months back, Accenture, the Ireland-based company, declared its plans to take over Flutura, an industrial AI firm located in Bengaluru.
The specifics of the deal, including its value, were not made public. Flutura is a team of around 110 professionals, specializing in industrial data science services for manufacturers and other companies with intensive assets.
Accenture stated that the acquisition of Flutura would bolster its industrial AI services, enhancing the performance of plants, refineries, and supply chains. This would also expedite clients in achieving their net-zero objectives. Accenture intends to extend Flutura’s capabilities to its clients in the energy, chemicals, metals, mining, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Last year, Accenture acquired ALBERT, a data science company in Japan. Its other recent AI acquisitions include Analytics8 in Australia, Sentelis in France, Bridgei2i and Byte Prophecy in India, Pragsis Bidoop in Spain, Mudano in the UK, and Clarity Insights in the US.

This acquisition is set to fuel AI-driven industrial transformation for their clients worldwide, especially in regions like Australia, South-East Asia, Japan, Africa, India, Latin America, and the Middle East.
