Dr. Lourembam Surjit felicitated by Apunba Manipur Huyen Lanlong Lup.

Dr. Lourembam Surjit was honored by the Apunba Manipur Huyen Lanlong Lup (AMHLL) at their headquarters in Wangkhei, Imphal East district, on Monday.

The AMHLL issued a statement signed by Okram Mongyamba, Secretary of the Publicity and Information Department, announcing that Dr. Surjit, Deputy Registrar of Manipur University of Culture, had received a Certificate of Excellence from Surindra Rajabhat University in Thailand.

Dr. Surjit attended the First National and International Conference on Sustainable Local Development, which lasted for seven days at Surindra Rajabhat University in Surin Province, Thailand, and saw participation from 12 nations. In the said Cultural Exchange program, Dr. Lourembam Surjit represented India as a Keynote Speaker.

The felicitation ceremony was attended by Sintakahal Okram Manglem Meetei, President of Apunba Manipur Huyen Lanlong, and Sintakahal Dr. L Joykumar, Vice President of the Lup. The AMHLL expressed hopes that Dr. Lourembam Surjit would promote Manipur culture worldwide. The press release also commended Dr. Surjit’s efforts to promote the Manipur University of Culture.
