The ongoing verbal spat between NFL celebrity Aaron Rodgers and late-night presenter Jimmy Kimmel has intensified. Radio icon Howard Stern has shown support for Jimmy Kimmel, while ex-sports journalist Michele Tafoya has backed Rodgers. On a recent episode of “Don’t @ Me” on OutKick, Tafoya stood up for Rodgers, who had insinuated that Kimmel was linked to Jeffrey Epstein during a segment on “The Pat McAfee Show”.
Tafoya contended that Kimmel, renowned for his incisive humor and quick wit, should not have been overly perturbed by Rodgers’ remarks. In the meantime, ESPN, the broadcaster of “The Pat McAfee Show”, has apologized for Rodgers’ contentious joke. McAfee, a former punter for the Indianapolis Colts, also expressed remorse for his involvement in the subsequent controversy. He stressed that his show strives to be entertaining and uplifting, and he was disheartened to be linked to such a grave accusation.
Aaron Rodgers has added fuel to the fire by suggesting that Kimmel’s name might appear in court documents linked to Jeffrey Epstein. During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers stated, “A lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, are hoping that doesn’t come out.” In response, Jimmy Kimmel took to Twitter to threaten Rodgers with legal action.
