The National Cadet Corps (NCC) ‘B’ Certificate Examination for the training year 2025–26 was successfully held across nine examination centres in Manipur, officials announced.
A total of 607 cadets — comprising 264 Senior Division (boys) and 343 Senior Wing (girls) cadets — appeared for the examination. The candidates belonged to 1 Manipur Air Squadron NCC, 14 Manipur Battalion NCC, 65 Manipur Girls Battalion NCC, and Sainik School Imphal.
The NCC ‘B’ Certificate Examination was successfully conducted at nine centres across Manipur, namely Imphal, Ukhrul, Chandel, Tamenglong, Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching, Moreh, and Jiribam.
All centres were managed under the supervision of NCC Group Headquarters Imphal.Cadets demonstrated exemplary discipline, dedication, and confidence throughout both the written and physical components of the examination, reflecting the high quality of training imparted under the NCC programme.
To ensure fairness and transparency, CCTV live-streaming was made available in all examination classrooms. Security arrangements were robust, with deployment of both state and central armed forces at all examination and physical test venues.
The entire process was closely supervised by the respective Commanding Officers, supported by Permanent Instructional (PI) Staff, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), and Girl Cadet Instructors (GCIs) from the participating units.
The NCC ‘A’ Certificate Examination had already been successfully completed earlier, paving the way for this ‘B’ Certificate assessment.Looking ahead, the NCC ‘C’ Certificate Examination is scheduled to take place on 15 February 2026 at various centres across the state, also under the aegis of NCC Group Headquarters Imphal.
The successful conduct of the ‘B’ Certificate exams once again highlights the commitment and organisational capability of the NCC in Manipur in nurturing disciplined and capable youth.
