The Revolutionary People’s Front, RPF greets the people of Manipur on the eve of the Merry Christmas celebration which falls on December 25.
A press statement released by Bangkim, Assistant Secretary, Publicity of the RPF conveyed greetings from the Minority Affairs Deputy Secretary Y Shyam wishing various communities residing in the hills and valley of the State since time immemorial. Y Shyam of the RPF greets the people to live a peaceful and prosperous society.
It said that Lord Jesus came among the people in the form of a human being on the order of the Supreme Lord to teach and lead society in the right direction. The main message of Jesus Christ is to bring peace to the world there should be no fear, and no wrong in love among all living beings, and the best way is to co-exist peacefully. Taking the words of John 13: 34: “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.” May the love of Christ fill our hearts and guide our actions as we serve and support one another.”
The statement further mentioned that Lord Jesus sacrificed to forgive the people for their sins and to let the people follow the right path. That showed how Jesus loves the people. Jesus Christ wants all the people to live peacefully and by forgiving the wrongs committed among the various communities of the region. Let us also be reminded of the words of Ephesians 4:32: “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.” May we extend the same forgiveness and grace to others that we have received from God through Christ.
But the unfortunate part is that today brotherhoods among various communities of the region have been divided against the wish of Jesus Christ. The conditions exist even among those communities following the same religion.
The statement also appealed to the various people of the state to live together peacefully. RPF further wishes the people to celebrate Christmas in true spirit and stand united.
