20th National Statistics Day Observed at Manipur University

The Department of Statistics, Manipur University, observed the 20th National Statistics Day on Monday at the university campus under the theme “Unlocking the Potential of Administrative Data.”

The programme was organised to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prof. P.C. Mahalanobis, widely regarded as the Father of Indian Statistics. The observance focused on the importance of statistics in governance, public policy, planning and academic development.
