Imphal/ August 15, 2023 (SPN) | Reshab Chetri, hailing from Manipur, has emerged victorious as the Rubaru Mr. India ‘Model International’ for the year 2023 at the finale held on August 5, 2023, at the scenic Bogmallo Beach Resort in Goa.
Reshab Chetri’s exceptional achievements have paved the way for him to proudly represent India in the forthcoming Mister Model International event scheduled for 2024.
Adding to his laurels, he also secured the esteemed title of ‘Best Runway Model’ in the same competition.
Born to the late Raj Kumar Chetri and Sangeeta Chetri of Mantripukhri, Reshab Chetri splendidly represented Manipur in the highly regarded Rubaru Mr. India 2023 competition. This event stands as India’s most time-honored and successful national-level pageant exclusively dedicated to men.
The auditions for the 19th edition of Rubaru Mr. India were conducted on March 31, 2023, at the Classic Grande in Imphal. It was during these auditions that Reshab Chetri, alongside Lummi Shangchiri, secured direct entry into the competition’s grand finale, representing Manipur.
Reshab Chetri’s triumph not only showcases his personal achievement but also stands as a testament to the talents and potential nurtured within the region.
In an impressive display of accomplishment, Lummi Shangchiri from Khangkhui Khullen village in Ukhrul District, another noteworthy contestant, clinched the title of Rubaru Mr. India ‘Brand Ambassador’ for 2023.
Additionally, he garnered the ‘Healthy Skin’ award at the same event, held at India’s preeminent men’s pageant.
Tachang Phassang, hailing from the picturesque state of Arunachal Pradesh, has secured the coveted title of Rubaru Mr. India ‘National Universe’ for the year 2023.
Adding to the roster of triumphs, Revan Pradhan, a 21-year-old talent from Sikkim, clinched a remarkable double victory by earning the titles of ‘Rubaru Mr. India 2023 Northeast’ and ‘Model of the Year Northeast for 2023’.
With participation from a total of 32 contestants representing various states across the nation, this edition of Rubaru Mr. India demonstrated the diverse and exceptional talent present within the realm of male modeling.
The 19th edition of the Rubaru Mr. India competition showcased the impressive participation of 32 exceptional men, each marked by their charisma and unique talents, representing diverse regions across the nation.
Adding a touch of prestige to the event, Dr. Pramod Sawant, the Chief Minister of Goa, honored the occasion as the distinguished Chief Guest, highlighting the profound importance of this revered celebration.
