Swachhot Sav Week held

The Lilong (Thoubal) Municipal Council has organized a three-week-long program called Swachhot Sav Week. This initiative aims to promote cleanliness and hygiene in the community. The program has been ongoing since March 16, 2023, and will continue for three weeks.

During this event, various locations were targeted, including Lilong Haoreibi College Gate, the office complex of Lilong Municipal Council, the Chingkham Kabui Community Hall, and the prayer hall.

The caretaker Vice Chairperson, Md Islau Rahman, caretaker Councillers, Executive officer M Rajen Singh, ex-ward members, and members of the Self Help Group actively participated in the social service camp.

The Swachhot Sav Week program is an excellent opportunity to promote awareness about cleanliness and hygiene among the community members. It is inspiring to see the participation and support of various stakeholders in this initiative, and their dedication to making their community a better place.
