Manipur University has brought pride to the state by winning the Overall Champion University title at the AIU’s 39th Inter-University North East Zone Youth Festival 2025-2026 (UNIFEST).
The university’s talented contingent delivered outstanding performances across various cultural, literary, and artistic events, showcasing exceptional creativity, teamwork, and excellence to clinch the top honours at the prestigious zonal youth festival. The event, organised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), saw enthusiastic participation from leading universities across the North East region.
The university fraternity expressed immense pride in the students’ achievement at the North East-Zone Youth Festival, hailing it as a shining reflection of their hard work and the institution’s strong commitment to nurturing cultural and creative talents alongside academic excellence.
The champion team is scheduled to arrive at Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal on 21st February 2026 at 11:30 A.M.
