Imphal (SPN) | Manipur Forest, Power and Agriculture Minister Thongam Biswajit visited the 143 BN CRPF Relief Camp and 86 BN CRPF Relief Camp at Lamphel.
During his visit, he spoke with the people taking shelter at the camp about their stay and facilities and distributed rations to the affected individuals.
He was accompanied by MLA Shri Sapam Kunjakeswor ‘Keba’, CO & DC-Imphal West.
Biswajit also visited the Relief Camp at Chandipur Keibul Lamjao in Bishnupur district and inquired about the well-being and stay facilities of the people there. He provided them with rations and other necessary items.
He then visited a Relief Camp at Moirangkhunou Mamang Sabal in the Bishnupur district, where he had conversations with the affected people and assured them that things will be normal soon in Manipur and everyone will be able to return home.
With the cooperation of Millan Enterprise and Rajarshi Bhagyachandra cultural foundation, he provided the people with food and clothes and ensured they were given every assistance.
Finally, Biswajit spoke with the elders taking shelter there, urging them to embrace a new beginning and stand in solidarity to restore peace in Manipur and support their fellow citizens.
